Real Party: Cuban Inspired Coming of Age Celebration

Come check out this old world meets new world Cuba themed event! All bongo drums, cuban cigars, larger than life palms, and candlelight, this party still has the SY&Co. team filled with joy and excitement!

Vanessa Michelle is such a wonderful coordinator and we had an amazing time putting together this custom quinceanera! We knew early on in designing that we would need to bring in tons and tons of fun props in order to really make this event pop. Found Rentals provided the large majority of props and we had so much fun styling- especially this entrance!!!

Prior to entering the ballroom, guests found two of our large gold mirrors with elegant white calligraphy. At the base were dozens of props including congo drums, vintage suitcases, globes, florals, and of course- tons and tons of candlelight!

After entering the ballroom, guests were treated to a breathtaking display. The Jonathan Club in Los Angeles obviously has stunning high ceilings, draped windows, and chandeliers- so working with this venue as a base obviously made for a gorgeous event. Not pictured below was our custom glimmering shadow box dance floor, which added a pop of excitement to the otherwise themed club.

Our crew at SY&Co. always enjoys mixing custom elements in with our florals, so we hand carved individual pineapple and coconut vases for the tabletops. White cotton lounge furniture mingled with oak side tables with pineapple vases and candles. Florals were tropical, with large palms, vibrant pincushions, colorful roses, and more.

We had a few different centerpiece designs to add more depth to the overall layout. Our long tables featured a linear tabletop spanning of our favorite Alexandrea lanterns, taper candles, floral arrangements, and votives. Above the tables ran our long t-structures which were covered in luscious greenery- palms, lemon leaf, ferns, ivy- you name it, we included it! Round tables featured either a low and lush design or (as pictured below), our invisi-boxes with greenery atop and petite florals below. Every table was covered in a stunning cream linen from Luxe Linen and was accompanied with a mix of vintage upholstered and chiavari chairs.
