In San Diego, California, Ravi and Anar said their vows underneath a beautiful May sky. The wedding beautifully combined a new and organic design while continuing and paying homage to ethnic tradition. Guests were seated underneath almond chiffon draping with mahogany chiavari chairs to match. Along the aisle we scattered colorful rose petals matching the florals used in the mandap.

The stage, painted in a light cream color with decorative panels at the front, sat undernead a preexisting covered area. We of course wanted to add more to this preexisting structure and so we used florals that had a very organic feel. This allowed for our florals to intertwine and flow nicely with the greenery that was already on the structure. Garland cascaded down the sides in an asymmetrical fashion with florals consisted of numerous garden roses, spray roses, orchids, and more. Additionally, we strung floral droplets with crystal accents above the couple's heads.

Personal florals for this ceremony were absolutely beautiful. Ravi's bouquet was made up of similar florals to that of the mandap and had a beautiful custom wrapped handle. The color palette photographed so well (look at those orchids!!!).

Anar and Ravi wanted to keep with tradition and have garlands created for the bride and groom. The opted for a modern and romantic twist to the standard garland. Theirs was made on a base of of smilax with additions of orchids, garden roses, spray roses, and more.
