Real Wedding: A Luxurious Purple & Gold Evening at Pelican Hill

Lauren and Jacob's wedding at Pelican Hill is definitely one of the highlights of 2015 for the SY & Co. team. The design was multi-faceted, utilizing mirrored tabletops, glimmering chandeliers, and candlelight to complement the luxurious gold and purple color palette.

Lauren and Jacob's ceremony took advantage of Pelican Hill's beautiful rotunda. We wrapped the front pillars of the structure in a matching almond chiffon that flowed majestically in the breezy Newport air. The aisle treatment was simple yet beautiful, as we formed one solid strip of rose petals rather than whimsically scattering.

Next to the couple as they said their vows were large mirrored columns with clear glass reflection vases and large, luscious purple and red floral arrangements.

The guests were treated to a luxurious seating design as we alternated rows with white lounge furniture and clear ghost chairs. To accent, we placed rich white furs on every few seats! We loved this unique seating style.

As guests enjoyed their cocktail hour, we put the finishing touches on the reception! This beautiful design consisted of coordinating purple florals, gold votives and platforms, glass candelabras, and more! The long and linear table layout perfectly fit the design.

We used a few different methods to create height and drama on the tabletop. Some florals were elevated on custom gold leafed platforms while others were placed on mirrored. Our favorite glass candelabras added an extra touch of romance to the design as the chandeliers illuminated the outdoor environment.
